We at Durgapur Projects Limited, involve in Generation of Electricity are committed to maintain & improve its environment, health & safety for protecting our employees, contractors and visitors involved in all our activities from injury, ill-health and unsafe environment by:

Identifying Hazards and Aspects together with assessing their risks and impact for various activities performed in the DPL with periodic review and control.

Improving continually our occupational health, safety and environment management system by setting objectives and targets and evaluating its effectiveness through periodical reviewing.

Complying with applicable legal and other requirements including the needs of interested parties related to occupational health, safety and environment and making our Policy available at conspicuous locations and to interested parties.

Optimizing utilization of natural resources, and improving our waste management system to prevent pollution.

Creating awareness related to environment, safety & occupational health and improving competence of employees and contractors through proactive training, communication and consultation.

Includes a commitment of consultation and participation of workers representatives to eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks.

Reviewing our occupational health, safety and environment policy periodically to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate.
